Purpose:
This school has a dual purpose. First, it is designed to provide advanced training to those who are interested in ministering to others. The second purpose is to provide an opportunity to receive personal ministry. Many people are unable to attend one of our seminars and this school provides them that opportunity.
Description:
The Wellspring School of Ministry is two weeks of thorough study and practical application designed to meet the needs for additional ministry and for advanced training in ministering to others.
The first week consists of 40 hours of comprehensive classroom instruction and group ministry. Wellspring staff members and guest speakers will provide instruction. During the second week you will begin to apply what you learned in the first week in actual ministry settings. Students will observe Wellspring staff ministers in actual ministry sessions. Then you will minister to another and also be ministered to, in a one-on-one setting under the direction of a Wellspring staff member.
Upon completion of the school, all students will be given a certificate of attendance. We also offer an affiliation agreement with Wellspring that authorizes the use of our name. Wellspring Ministries of Alaska reserves the right not to enter into this agreement without reason or explanation.
Enrollment is limited and on a first come, first serve basis. Registering early will ensure your place in the school of ministry.

Advance registration is required two weeks prior to start of school.
Class will begin each day Monday - Friday at 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Requirements before attendance:
The more you prepare for the school, the more you will receive from it. Therefore, we recommend that you read and study as a minimum Biblical Foundations of Freedom. Listening to or attending one of our I Found Freedom Seminars is greatly encouraged. We also recommend that you have read In His Own Image and The Continuing Works of Christ before coming to the School of Ministry. This will give you a great advantage in the school and will make the application to your life much deeper.
Affiliation Agreement:
If you are seeking an Affiliation Agreement with Wellspring, we require:
1. That you have participated in both of the Wellspring seminars, either in person or on tape (I Found Freedom and How to Minister to Others seminars).
2. That you have read and studied In His Own Image, Biblical Foundations of Freedom, Continuing Works of Christ, Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Intercessory Prayer.
3. That you have completed the Wellspring ministry process in your own life.
4. That you submit your testimony and resume with the registration form.
These requirements do not have to be completed prior to attendance but we recommend it.

Testimonies from the Wellspring School of Ministry

“My “uptight” got un-wound and relaxed! The 4 Ibuprofen I needed for back pain is not needed anymore. My back is so relaxed now. I feel like play-dough in God’s hands.” |
“Major weights of living a burdened life began to lift as I forgave and repented. God blessed me with a sweeter peace than I have ever known. I am going back home a new person in Christ.” |
“I was healed of being lactose intolerant. Much more important for me is understanding the process of healing broken hearts by dealing with broken relationships.” |

“I came to Wellspring to get closer to Jesus and to continue to seek His purpose for my life. I knew also that my scoliosis would be healed. I had been told when I was seventeen that I had a slight curve at the top of my spine, but by the time I was thirty-two my first set of chiropractic x-rays showed a very pronounced S curve which limited my movement and eventually caused me extreme pain and hip problems at times. I remember a Christian chiropractor saying that since the scoliosis wasn't congenital or the result of trauma that it could be corrected - that was the last time I saw him or was given any hope. A few years later I also read that scoliosis could be the result of "carrying the burdens of the world." During the first week at Wellspring whenever we prayed the group prayers I felt a tingling up and down my spine and I knew that as I forgave, repented, and released that God was healing my scoliosis. By the second week, I was pain-free and when Art opened up the class for prayer for healing a student friend in the class laid hands on me and prayed, then she actually saw my spine straightening." |

“The Mother’s Blessing the first week was the beginning of a breakthrough spiritually for me. Growing up in church all my life, I learned how to live with a mask. After awhile (several years) you get tired of holding the mask up and you want freedom. I was able to pray and receive release from the rejection, hurts, and burdens I chose to carry. Jesus took them all away as I forgave and repented. The Lord showed me a picture of not just stepping into His stream of living water, but to jump in and immerse myself!” I'm all wet now and am enjoying my new freedom. I’m looking forward to more.” |
“I came to the school at the end of the road with my own strength. I needed some answers to the confusion in my life. I have learned the simple truths of God’s Word and how to put it into action. I have gotten free of years of unforgiveness!” |

We are really having a great time with all the new training tools you have imparted to us during the School of Ministry and we wanted to send another thank you to everybody for all the effort you put into the training. It was done with excellence and flowed very smoothly which we fully realize, does not happen without lots of work and prayer. Thanks. Thanks and be blessed.

Excellent to have such extensive hands-on training! |
I gained a level of confidence that I am now equipped, by the Holy Spirit, to minister successfully. |
I've never had 1-1/2 hours of somebody else focusing just on me! |
I now know how to repent and forgive, cancel Satans assignment and ask the Holy Spirit to heal my broken heart whenever anxiety or resentment shows up. |
I came here because I felt it was the next step in my physical healing. I am leaving with my eyes and heart on the Lord, sure that He is the source of all truth and ready to submit with joy. |
Now I can live a life for God and do the things that He has for me. |
I loved not being rushed in exploring issues that have been difficult to get a handle on. |
This is something I can do at home, in the car, at the store, at church - it's a lifestyle before the Lord. |
I now have the tools and have practiced how to resist the enemy. I have seen it work and will go home in confidence. |
Although I have previously ministered in other settings, I now really feel trained. Thank you for spending the whole week letting us experience hands-on! |
“During the last two weeks, I've learned who God really is!” |
Showing how to do the ministry in the sessions was extremely helpful. It enabled us to go and do likewise. |
Only the Holy Spirit could have put me with the right ministry partner and together we prayed through sorrow, grief, hurt and bitterness. When we got through, I felt like I was 16 again. |
I received release and freedom from a vow I had made 10 years ago. Now I am set free to hear God's voice clearly today, and obey. |
God has been dealing with me in the area of feeling unable to minister to those Ive perceived to be above me. I believe this bondage is now broken. In the future, I will resist the desire to run from my assignment. |
