School of Ministry

The Wellspring School of Ministry is a two-week intensive course in the essentials of prayer ministry.

For the person who needs the tools to help people work through life-controlling issues this advanced training is for you. First, you will learn how thoughts and emotions are tied to a person's physiology.

The first 40 hours of classroom instruction also includes comprehensive training in using basic and advanced priniples of recognizing areas where ministry is needed and how to apply scriptural principles so that you can lead people into a simple understanding of what sin is, what it does to us spiritually and physically, and how to break its bonds.

You will see and experience practical application of these principles in a group setting.

Week One is taught by Wellspring staff members at our Anchorage facility. The second week is a continuation of what you learned in the first week as you first observe, then participate in live ministry sessions.

When Week Two is finished, you will receive a certificate of course completion. And you find that you have the tools to bring peace and life into the lives of people God places on your path.

Dr. Art Mathias

Art is a Lover of Jesus, an International teacher, book author of the Biblical Foundations of Freedom (over 100,000 copies sold) as well as many other books, and the founder of Wellspring Ministries. He teaches on The Ministry of Jesus, Power of Dad-Generational disease and sins, Is God a just God?, How does God test us? – What does it mean to suffer for our faith?, The Kingdom of God, and How to Minster to Others(in-depth). With Arts guidance you will become empowered no matter what age, nationality, or gender you are to do the works of Jesus…to preach good news to the poor…to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners… Isaiah 61:1.

Kris Gugel RN

Kris is a Lover of Jesus, a Registered Nurse who has studied what the effects of fear and stress are on our anatomy and physiology.  Her research will astound you and you begin to learn that most disease in our bodies is caused by fear and stress.  In her course on Fear and Stress Anatomy and Physiology she lays foundation for the whole school by helping us understand homeostasis in our body soul and spirit.  Your eyes will be opened to the amazing truth - you ARE wonderfully made!’

Janice Coulter

Janice is a Lover of Jesus, a 100% teacher in the true sense of the word.  As well as being a teacher she is a National speaker for Wellspring Ministries, and a Wellspring counselor.  Janice teaches on What is Sin, Discernment, Accusing Spirits, and the Principality of Fear and the Occult.  With Janice’s outgoing teaching styled and use of many analogies, she makes it easy for anyone to understand deep truths.  You will be truly to sit under Janice’s teaching.

Pastor Rick Bonnette

Rick is a Lover of Jesus, a pastor, International teacher and a Wellspring counselor.  With Rick’s down to earth personality and teaching skill, he will help you learn how to deal with the heavy issues in all of our lives.  Father of six with generational stories to draw upon, Pastor Rick presents the biblical foundation of freedom from Bitterness, Self Bitterness, Jealousy and Envy and Rejection.  Free your relationships applying God’s truths with Rick’s teaching. 

Dee Peterson

Dee Peterson is a Lover of Jesus, a mother, a grandmother and a Wellspring counselor. Dee will be teaching on Pre-natal Psychology using Scripture, "In His Own Image"by Dr. Mathias, "The Secret Life of the Unborn Child" by Dr. Verney along with her own testimonies of how the Lord has walked with her and others through difficult issues from the womb forward. Dee has a life time of wonderful experiences to draw from and teaches from a background of growing up in Alaska in a gold mine that will stir your heart to give her your full attention. She finishes her teaching with a special Mother's blessing!

Milan Galey

Milan Galey is a Lover of Jesus, an International teacher and a Wellspring counselor, Milan will be teaching on Personal Ministry. From Milan’s single-minded faithful approach to searching out God’s Truths in His Word, Milan has developed a straightforward faith-filled approach to sharing ministry. With his experiences from the Alaska Bush to the African plane.  With his “radio-voice” and direct style, Milan brings texture and insight to the experience.

Kathy Haley

Kathy is a Lover of Jesus, is a Wellspring counselor and heads up a Wellspring counseling office in Kenai, AK.  Kathy teaches on how to set up a Wellspring Ministry Model in your church modeled after her highly successful Kenai office. A gifted worshipper with a faith building testimony, Kathy will inspire your efforts to build your local ministry.

Pastor Pat Hadley

Pat is a Lover Jesus, the pastor of Wellspring Church, and an international teacher. Pat leads worship during the school and teaches. With Pat’s articulation of the scripture, you will easily grasp the revelatory truths of the word.
