Are there conditions that must be met before God will heal out bodies and minds?

Indicators of pride:

  1. When we do what we want out ahead of God
  2. Frustrated with others because they don't do it our way
  3. Irritated by others
  4. Rebellion
  5. Control and Manipulation
  6. Fear
  7. Needing to be needed
  8. Needing approval and acceptance
  9. Get embarrassed easily
  10. Sensitive and hurt easily
  11. You say, "I'm a good person" but you don't feel appreciated
  12. "I can do it better than them"
  13. Don't they know who I am and what I have to offer?"
  14. You think everything that happens is because of you
  15. You think everything that happens is about you
  16. Offended continually
  17. Feeling guilty
  18. Self-exaltation - Bragging and exalts own achievements
  19. False Humility - looking for someone to see their humility
  20. False sense of responsibility (false burden bearing) - you are not Jesus

Some of the most serious blocks to receiving healing appear as unbelief.  Even in medicine, unless a person is hopeful that the doctor is capable, willing, and equipped to deliver a treatment that will result in a positive outcome, the results will be less than desired.

How much more is that simple principal of belief, faith, and trust a foundational requirement for emotional, mental, and spiritual healing.
